Evergreen TMS is owned and operated by Kari Heistand, M.D, board certified psychiatrist. Dr. Heistand graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine and Psychiatry Residency and has completed a visiting fellowship on Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation through Duke University. She is an active member of the Clinical TMS Society. Dr. Heistand has practiced psychiatry for over 15 years and treated many patients with treatment resistant major depression. She is very excited to be able to offer this effective and well tolerated treatment for those patients whom medications are not tolerated or adequately effective for major depression.
