Dr. Vandana Sethi Rao is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in depression, mood disorders, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral issues. She combines medication management with psychotherapy techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy, trained at UT Southwestern (UTSW). Dr. Rao also holds a family therapy certification from the Momentous Institute and has extensive experience working with diverse patient populations at major healthcare institutions. With three years of adult psychiatry residency and a two-year child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship, Dr. Rao's expertise spans both fields. She has also served as a general practitioner abroad and completed a two-year externship in internal medicine.
