In this general psychiatry practice, services primarily include diagnostic evaluation and psychopharmacologic (medication) management. Patients’ ages range from 13 up. Adolescents are welcome. I’m a strong believer in looking at how patterns of thinking and feeling over time influence us in the here and now. But over the years I’ve seen over and over how biological psychiatric illnesses – mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention disorders – keep the negative patterns going – disrupting lives and getting in the way of people achieving their full potential. For this reason, it’s vital to get a full diagnostic evaluation, and strongly consider if medication would make a difference.
