TMS treatment is offered at Richmond University Medical Center’s Center for Integrative Behavioral Medicine. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is a proven effective, non-invasive treatment for patients with major depressive disorder (MDD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) who have not responded to one or more medications using the BrainsWay D system. An initial evaluation is conducted by attending psychiatrists with specialized training in TMS. The treatment is provided on an outpatient basis in a safe, secured, monitored, and comfortable environment. The initial evaluation is approximately 60 minutes. Treatment sessions are approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
