Hi! I’m Dr. Amy Mednick. I’m a psychiatrist, and I run my own private practice on Madison Avenue in Manhattan, New York City. I use psychotherapy, psychopharmacology and a cutting-edge technology called Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). TMS therapy helps adults experiencing depression and anxiety to find relief.I have a special interest in the overlap between the humanities and neuroscience, which is reflected in my treatment and exploratory style in practice, as well as my enthusiasm for collaborative work between other fields. I also utilize writing to further explore these overlaps and enhance dialogue between different disciplines, and between patients and doctors.
