It provides comprehensive neurological, neurosurgical, and psychiatric care for a wide range of disorders affecting the brain, spine, nerves, or muscle; and seeks to advance current standards of care though basic, translational, and clinical research. The Institute is home to nationally and internationally recognized leaders in their fields, and its Clinical Centers give these experts access to state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced imaging and minimally invasive surgical platforms. We seek to provide our patients with compassionate, patient- and family-centered care, combining cost-effectiveness with excellent outcomes throughout the care continuum. We emphasize effective and open communication with our patients and referring physicians. We fully understand the importance of listening carefully to patient concerns, and ensuring that our patients always have a full understanding of their condition and care plan.
